Accessibility Statement

Heinze Consulting is committed to making this website accessible in line with recognized standards for digital accessibility. The benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549.

1. Conformance status

Based on our own assessment, this website is largely conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Largely conformant" means the requirements are predominantly met, though some non-essential content (see section 3) may deviate from individual criteria.

2. Measures taken

• Full keyboard operability; visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
• A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
• Color contrasts meeting the AA thresholds (text ≥ 4.5:1).
• Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting — animations are then disabled; the topic ticker can also be paused.
• Meaningful alternative text for informative images; purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields with programmatically associated labels; use of native, accessible components (dialogs, disclosure elements).
• Semantic structure with a clear heading hierarchy and language markup (German/English).

3. Non-accessible content

The following content is only partially accessible at this time:

• Embedded appointment booking (Google): The booking window is loaded only after an active click and is provided by Google. We have no influence over its internal accessibility. You can reach us by email at any time as an alternative.
• PDF downloads (e.g. the renewal checklist): These are visually legible but may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. On request we are happy to provide the content in an accessible format.
